A School of Trout

Made over the course of a year, A School of Trout follows a group of fourth graders in Burlington’s Old North End as they raise and release baby trout into a river while learning about the ecosystems surrounding us. The film provides a peek into how kids conceptualize growth and change in nature as the children themselves are approaching their own transition into middle school. Winner at Vermont Film and Folklore Festival – Best Short Film. Official Selection at Vermont International Film Festival, Made Here Festival. Broadcasted on Vermont PBS. Sustainability Academy trout program made possible through Trout Unlimited
